30 April we have our Queensday.
Everyone is free that day to enjoy the feasts.

30 April is not the birthday of our queen “Beatrix”, but it was the birthday of her mother, Juliana.

The birthday of Beatrix is on 31 Januari.

But as a tribute to her mother, we still have Queensday on 30 April.

Anyway, we have all kind of festivities in every village and city.
Music, Dance, Old dutch games, etc. etc.
Just look at the pics.

We also have a lot of free-markets where people can sell stuff what they don’t need anymore.

Btw, it just came up in my mind what will happend with “Queensday” after Prince Alexander.
Will be our king ? Hahaha, he have to change, because we never will give-up our Queensday !!
