4 and 5 may are National moments in Holland.
When we stand still at the victims of war. (WW-II).
These moments we have to realise how fragil freedom is.
Just in this National moments it’s important to show and express this solidarity.
So, tonight at 20.00 h. we all be in silence, two minutes with our own thoughts and memories.
What happend on Queensday, cast a dark cloud over this.
That Queensday had big consequences for family and friends of the death,
injured and spectators.
We expect that more than before, people attach to stick together on these national moments.
The controdiction is that tomorrow 5 may we have our Liberation-day.
The day that Holland was free again after 5 years of war.
I think the moral of this is, that we have to celebrate our freedom, but never forget that it’s not self-evident.
