The number of dutch-people who spend vacantion in Holland rises.
In the past years about 20% of the dutch spend theire vacation in their own country.
This year will be around 30%. The reason is clear and simple.
People have less money to spend. Besides that, the good summers we had lately are also an explanation.
Anyway, it’s not realy a punishment to spend vacation in Holland.
It’s in nature of the dutch to go out by tent or caravan, and the most populair destinations are France, Germany, Spain and Italy.
In these countries are many good equipped campsites.
And ofcourse the campsites in Holland are also on a high level.
Most of the campsites in Holland are located near the coast and “the Veluwe”.
The Veluwe is located in the middle of Holland where are forests.
Besides these campsites there also big parcs where you can rent a bugalow.
These sites are expencive, but have alot to offer ( tropical indoor swimmingpool) outdoor swimmingpool,
restaurants, shops etc. etc.
In rest there also alot of attraction parcs, like “The Efteling” , “Ponyparc Slagharen”, “Walibi World”
and the big Zoo’s in Amsterdam (Artis) and Rotterdam (Blijdorp).
Ofcourse the big cities, like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague have a lott to offer.
Holland is also a country of many waterways and lakes, so many have a little ship, and spend their vacation on the water. For them are also many facilities in the harbours of the villages.
So, all together a good reason to spend vacation in Holland.
About 12.000.000 people from foreigne countries visit Holland every year and around 2.500.000
of them spend their vacation here. Around 30% of them are from Germany.
So come in Holland to spend a perfect vacation! 😉
