Thursday 24e June, The final games in poule E an F. Poule F: At 17.00 Slowakia – Italy and Newzeeland – Paraguay.

Thuesday, 22e June The exit of France and South Africa from this World Cup. France played a bad game against South Africa and it was deserved that they beat France 2-1. In the same poule Mexico lost from Uruguay 0-1. So in spite of their victory on France South Africa is out of competition.

Sunday 20e June: On the programm are 3 games, and all nice and attractive on paper, so i installed myself in front of the tv screen. At 14.30 Slowakia-Paraguay, and this time i saw a real nice and attractive game. The first chance on a goal was to Paraguay.

Saterday 19e June, The day that Holland have to play their second game, against Japan in Durban Stadion. So at 14.30 it the roads were empty, and we all watched the game. We had high expectations, but the Japanees had other ideas, and didn’t want to loose this game.

Thursday 17e and Friday 18e there were some very important and (on paper) very interesting games on the programm. Every new W.C the newest technic will be used to make a supirior ball Adidas made the W.C. Ball 2010 and named it “Jabulani”. Jabulani is from the Zulu language, the biggest etnic population in South Africa.

15 june was already the 5e day of this W.C. and till now is not breathtaking. Only Germany made a good game and made 4 goals. In rest 1-1 , 1-0 and 2-0. Criticy here say that the ball is to blame. Many of the goals were made cz. of faults by the goalkeeper and they defend themselfs [...]

In the same poule with Holland, yesterday, at 17.00 (R.T.) Japan played against Kameroen. It was a big surprise that Japan won the game 1-0. 14e june was the day that Holland played the first game against Danmark. So, 14.30 (RomanianTime) milions dutch people (took free from work) switched-on the television, and saw a nervous start. Maybe the expectations were to high and half-time it was stil 0-0.

Anyway, forget all i wrote you till now about W.C. Football South Africa cz. today the W.C. realy starts when Holland play their first game against Danmark at 13.30 (Dutch Time), in Soccer City Stadion in Johannesburg. (cap. 90.000 people). I expect all Romanians will dressed in orange or at least wear some orange accessory (cap, scarf) [...]

It looks like all the teams have fear to loose their first game, they act nervous, and without the power to win. Yesterday (sunday) it was the same. Altough the team of Ghana surprised me, as i expected they beat Servia 1-0, but they played the best football so far.

Time to introduce you to the Dutch Dreamteam. Our coach is Bert van Marwijk, he was a football-player and plays once in the national-team. He seleced 23 players for the W.C. 01 – Ibrahim Afelay (PSV)
