As promised Holland won the 1/2 finale. Big Orange party’s all over the country, people jumpen in fontains, claxons from cars. Anyway, since 32 years we are back to play the finale, and we are better than ever.

Saterday 3e Juli; The last two games in the 1/4 finale. At 17.00 Germany – Argentina. It was a nice game to watch, Germany played very well and Argentina had no chance.

Monday 28e June: two games in the 1/8 finale. At 17.00 Holland – Slowakia in Durban. Again Holland played a solid game, and just the result counts.

Saterday, 26e June The first day of the 1/8 finales from now on we play the knock-out system, so we have high expectations, cz. if you loose it’s over and out. At 17.00 in Port Elisabeth Uruguay- South Korea.

Thursday 24e June, The final games in poule E an F. Poule F: At 17.00 Slowakia – Italy and Newzeeland – Paraguay.

Thuesday, 22e June The exit of France and South Africa from this World Cup. France played a bad game against South Africa and it was deserved that they beat France 2-1. In the same poule Mexico lost from Uruguay 0-1. So in spite of their victory on France South Africa is out of competition.

Sunday 20e June: On the programm are 3 games, and all nice and attractive on paper, so i installed myself in front of the tv screen. At 14.30 Slowakia-Paraguay, and this time i saw a real nice and attractive game. The first chance on a goal was to Paraguay.

Saterday 19e June, The day that Holland have to play their second game, against Japan in Durban Stadion. So at 14.30 it the roads were empty, and we all watched the game. We had high expectations, but the Japanees had other ideas, and didn’t want to loose this game.

Day 6 of this championship had again a few big surprises. Who could ever think that Spain, Favorit by all the bookmakers, lost their first game from Switzerland?! Yes nobody, but it happends.
